Our
newly formed women’s group has hit the ground running and we expect to
have a spectacular year in 2005! Formed in October of 2004, we quickly
embarked upon our first project – providing Christmas for needy children
in the school system. Members of the group funded the project from their
own pockets and were able provide clothes, coats and toys for nearly a
dozen local children. As part of our mission statement, Christian Women
Caring for the Community, we will continue to sponsor a project each
quarter of the year that will reach a variety of members in the
community. As we continue to develop, we welcome new faces and ideas to
help us relay His message and spread His love. We are glad to welcome
anyone to the group and look forward to a year of great fellowship with
you! Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
and the location rotates among participants of the group. If you would
