Servant of the Month – April 2019

Servant of the Month heading

We are delighted to reveal our Servant of the Month for April to be Johnny Cordell.  Johnny wears many hats around Chapel Hill.  He is our church historian, and he contributes to our monthly newsletter with the “History Leaves of the Methodist Tree” article, he’s also one of the Basement Bunch’s rotating Sunday school teachers. Johnny currently presides as president of the United Methodist Men’s group. He is one of many volunteers who help keep our church grounds well groomed during the summer months.  He serves as a greeter and usher on a rotation basis.  Occasionally, he can also be seen ringing bells in the hand bell choir and singing in the choir.  Thank you, Johnny for everything you do here at Chapel Hill.  We truly appreciate you.

‘Well done, good and faithful servant!  You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.  Come and share your Master’s happiness!’  Matthew 25:23
